Vacuum Infusion in Action

One of our favorite photos from the archives, a vacuum infusion of resin on a large scale -- in this case for construction of a barge. We use vacuum infusion for most of our composite building projects, including hulls and individual boat parts. The process offers superior quality, strength, and consistency compared to traditional hand lay-up methods of fiberglass or carbon fiber.

And Marga remains one of our all-time favorite staff, long after she left us to cruise the world.
