Tiger, the Pinky schooner

Luc Maheu has plans for his recently acquired 45' Pinky Schooner, Tiger. To start, Luc will repaint the hull to the boat's more traditional green and black. Much of the rigging will also be redone to be more consistent with traditional methods. In the long term, Tiger will be available for charter, and perhaps one day for a youth sailing program. The modern-day replica of the 16th century European design was launched in 1993 in British Columbia. The boat has a lifted or "pinked" stern, and therefore the name. The design was once used for fishing the North Sea.
